Compulsary Task Part B #1

The fair breeze blew, the white foam flew, the furrow followed free:we were the first that ever burst into that silent sea.

The Meaning:So the meaning of this is that this was straight after the ancient mariner killed the albatross, that it was a quiet night and the breeze was all they could hear and the meaning of the burst into the silent sea that the albatross was the first thing to fall into the silent sea.

The Rhythm/iambic pentameter:The fair breeze flew the white foam flew and the rhythm in that is blew and flew because they have the same ending which brings in the iambic meter because if you put a simple beat while saying the poem with the rhythm.

Alliteration:The example is furrow followed free because they all start with f and the effect of that causes the reader to keep entertained as well as to keep the iambic meter going also.

In part the sixth the ancient mariner had just woke up the ship that he was on it moved swiftly in the breeze but as the ship moved a lighthouse caught the ancient mariners sight is this it?is this  the ancient mariners own country! Is he home? Oh this is his dream of joy but the ancient mariner didn’t know if he was really awake or not so he prayed to god whit his sobs o let me be awake or let me sleep away.A harbour-bay was nearby and was clear as glass.Above the moonlight shone and as it shone it steeped in silentness,it crept away.so at the end his gods shrieved his soul and he washed the albatrosses blood away.

Part the fith homework

In the part the fifth when the albatross fell off the ancient mariner felt that he was blessed and he could now pray.Since he blessed the snakes everything started to happen he felt a glimpse of happiness.it hadn’t rained in several days and nor he’d hadn’t eaten but now a big grey cloud above showered him with drinkable water. All those body’s that had died rose up back from the dead helped him prepare the ship.At one point him and his nephew were pulling the sale together, suddenly there was a sound of a wind but it wasn’t coming his way but the ship started to move and he was breezing through the sea.The weird thing was that grey cloud that showered him was following him wherever he went SMACK!!Out of no where another ship banged through him and the sea was pushing his boat so fast he didn’t even notice. As soon as the boat smacked the ancient mariner was knocked out.Appearing to wake up he heard to voices which were speaking above his head and the words that come out of there mouths were is it he? Quoth one is this the man? By him who died on a cross with his cruel bow he laid full low, the harmless albatross.

New homework

The poem so far is basing on the ancient mariner how he is just stuck on an abandoned ship he can’t move, he can’t eat or drink and had just been left there to die.He has been stuck on this ship for several days and the reason why he hasn’t died yet is because he has been cursed by killing the albatross.A few days later the the ancient mariner was Leaning over the ship and suddenly the albatross fell off, sunk to the bottom of the sea. Finally the ancient mariner was free from his curse and was allowed to sleep, pray and do many more than he could do when he was cursed.
